3 Really Tough Games for Android That You Will Love
Regular readers of this blog are probably aware that I recently purchased an Xperia X10. One of the reasons I opted for an Android handset was its rapidly growing Market (online application repository). Over the past month I have installed and uninstalled several hundred apps. Quite obviously, if I am this excited about something, I have got to blog about it. Today, I will kick start my Android section by sharing with you three incredibly fun but somewhat challenging games available for Android. The first one will test your skills, while the other two will test your ingeniousness and logical reasoning capabilities.

Labyrinth
This game is a recreation of the classic game of Labyrinth for Android. All you have to do is guide the ball to the target, while taking care to avoid the obstacles and small holes. If you fall into one of the holes, you will respawn at the beginning. The ball itself is controlled by tilting the phone.

This might sound simple, and some of the levels really are. However, more often than not, you will find yourself replaying a level dozens of times before succeeding. The game feels really polished and is a joy to play. The accelerometer accuracy is great and the physics of the game seems realistic. You will find yourself using things like momentum and reaction force to your advantage.
The Lite version features 10 levels and is available here. However, you should really pick up the full version, which provides access to more than 1000 levels for only £2.99.
Impossible Level Game
When the first level of a game warns that the creators of the game “do not replace devices destroyed by frustration”, it’s clearly not a good sign. This is one game that will drive your mad, yet at the end of it all, you are going to love it.

ILG contains 30 levels and the objective is to simply reach the next level. Each level is a riddle. Some are silly, some are brilliant, but each of them will test your patience and ingeniousness. This game doesn’t have a lot of replay value, but is still worth the £0.99 that is demands. If you are still not convinced, try out the light version before taking the plunge. By the way, it really is possible to solve this game. All you have to do is think outside the box and be patient.
The Plateau
This is another game that will tax your brain. Every level involves a collection of nodes interconnected by threads. You have to untangle those threads (ensure that no thread intersects another) by rearranging the position of the nodes. The game is easy to get into and the first dozen or so levels are a breeze. However, things become more interesting once you get past the first twenty five levels.

Very few Android games can boast of stunning graphics and animations. The Plateau is one of them. The gameplay is fantastic, but the packaging deserves a special mention. The Plateau is available for $4.99.

I have it on my phone I will try these games thanks. They look fun.
