If you had something to say bout chrome it would have been helpful. I use chrome by Google and I am pretty impressed by it. It is much better compared to other browsers.

Controle de scripts is a nice alternative for fiefox if noscript gets too overbearing. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1154

Opera also shows the excellent “disable javascripts on this page” with every JS popup. Can be quite handy at times.
