Dasient Web Antimalware Prevents Websites From Getting Blacklisted

More and more cyber-criminals are using websites as a vehicle to deliver trojan horses and other malwares. Often they insert malicious codes into innocent websites run by unsuspecting webmasters. Detecting a malware infection is relatively easy (as long as you have a top class antivirus) if all the pages of a website is affected. Once you signup Dasient will periodically check your website’s status in Google, Firefox, Chrome, Norton Safe Web and McAfee SiteAdvisor and alert you if your website has been blacklisted in any one of them. While this doesn’t protect your website against malware infection or from getting blacklisted, this allows you to minimise the damage by acting quickly.

2. Malware Monitoring – This is not available to free users. Dasient will periodically scan your website and alert you if any malicious code in found. They will also provide you with helpful diagnostic information that will help you to quickly remove the malicious code. This solution doesn’t prevent your website from getting hacked, but allows you to act quickly and prevents getting blacklisted.

3. Quarantining - This is the highest level of protection offered by Dasient and as you would expect it isn’t free. Webmasters are required to install a simple module provided by Dasient on their server. This module will scan all your pages and automatically quarantine any malicious code. This stops any malware in its heels and prevents cyber-criminals from exploiting your website. This is currently in private beta and is available only to webhosting providers or folks with dedicated server.
