Kaspersky's release cycle is pretty confusing. The build available on the ftp 9.0.0.684 is the latest build (which is beta). The build available on the website is the latest stable build.

Any patch that has a generic name like INSTALLER.EXE is almost certainly a malicious program. Kaspersky is right in deleting it.

I have kaspersky internet security. When I go to download a WoW patch it shuts it down and says INSTALLER.EXE placed in low restricted. Without disabling Kaspersky and putting my internet security at risk how do I avoid Kaspersky from stopping the patch. I already have it configured so that all blizzard programs are trusted yet I still have this problem. Thanks.

I don't know what happened but when I turned on the computer, this popped out: File black.lst is missing or corrupted. Please run updater to fix this problem.

When I click on update, it says I don't have a license key. ARRRGHHH! I don't know what the problem is!

When I check the details on my license key (View detailed info on keys), here's what it says:

Expiration date: 12/22/2010 8:00:00 AM
Number: 01C-000AD-05564578A773
Key type: Commercial for 5 computers
