Cryptload – A Rapidshare Downloader That Works
With a traffic rank of less than twenty, Rapidshare is the undisputed king of file sharing websites. However, downloading from Rapidshare can be an excruciatingly painful process for free users. Free accounts come with tons of annoyances including no download manager support, no resume support, and wait time between downloads, captcha, no simultaneous download and so on. Normally you would need to wait for a file to complete downloading, then again wait during the compulsory wait period and then manually start a new download. Lack of resume support also means that if your connection drops in the middle you would need to manually restart the download by generating a new URL. Sitting in front of the PC around the clock to monitor file downloads is a less than ideal situation.
While there are tons of tools claiming to worth wonders with rapidshare including premium account generators and rapidshare download managers very few of them actually work. In fact some of are actually malwares. There are however some download managers that do work. The best option that I have come across, for downloading from Rapidshare is Cryptload. It’s a complete solution for rapidshare downloads. All you need to do is provide it the link to the download page. Cryptload automatically takes care of the captcha and generates the actual download link. In case you are in rapidshare waiting time Cryptload will automatically re-attempt to download at fixed intervals until it succeeds. Another unique feature in Cryptload is to disconnect and reconnect through your Modem/Router. This feature comes in handy if you have dynamic ip address as this will bypass the wait time between downloads. You can add multiple downloads and queue them up. Crpytload is also able to accept multiple links through the clipboard, so you don’t need to individually add links for multi-part files.
Although I have been referring to Cryptload as rapidshare downloader it actually supports many other file hosting services including Megaupload, Netload, Filter.net, Uploaded.to and Share-Online. Cryptload works flawlessly even with Rapidshare Collector Accounts and Rapidshare premium accounts (premium accounts for all the other services is also supported).
The plethora of features, coupled with impressive download speed and the fact that it always works makes Cryptload the best rapidshare downloader currently available. It is under active development and is updated regularly. A new version is under development that will add support for a number of additional file sharing services and will also run on Mac.

I suggest you try jDownloader.. It’s another amazing software that downloads form rs.com and other such file hosters. It has all the features of CryptLoad and works beautifully for me. I haven’t used Crypt Load properly so cannot say which one is better…

i got i ccf file but don’t want to use crypt load to download it. i was wondering if there is a way to get the http links from the file.
If you want to get the http link then open the rapidshare page in fx and use a extension like flashgot to send it to your download manager.
Yess! I used Cryptload for about a week, then found out about jDownloader. jDownloader supports much more File Hosts. Cryptload uses less resources. Its just a tradeoff. Ultimately jDownloader is better.
I gave jDownloader a try..it definitely has a better interface. But switched back to Cryptload as jDownloader seemed encounter weird file not found errors.
You can also give a shot to the Rapidshare Plus if you want to download files from Rapishare faster.

hej little help i use that crypt load but when it finish one download link and start other I wait about 800 sec, why and I got something to wrote a password!
It occurs because most free download services (including Rapidshare) has a certain wait time between two downloads.
There are two ways to bypass this :
i) Get yourself a premium account, and enter the username and password details.
ii) If your ISP provides a Dynamic Ip address, then you simply need to disconnect and re-connect the internet. Once you re-connect you would be assigned a new ip address and won’t have to wait.
You can configure Cryptload to do this automatically.
But as I said it will only work if your ISP provides a dynamic ip address.

Hi, I would also recommend Jdownloader. What I like about it :
1. It uses a lot less system resources and works everytime for RS, MU, NL, Hotfile and others.
2. Best of all it will automatically grab links from your clipboard, check them and add them for downloading if those links are alive.
3. It has all the other features like Multi-download, Resume, Auto shutdown and Auto un-rar downloaded archives, auto reconnect to generate a new ip etc.
Anyway I havent used Cryptload but I guess I would never need to
Jdownloader works perfectly for me.
This software is great because it always works and it’s very simple and easy to use. I’ve tried jD but it doesn’t always work.
jDowloader started to have some problems for me.
Filesonic and wupload links that i can download with mozilla or iexplorer, are treated first as alive (in the linkgrabber tab) then file not found in downloads tab.
