Time for another edition of Tiny Utilities. I have three more nifty software in store for you.
Just as the name suggests, this utility displays live statistics about your internet connection. NSL allows you to monitor your internet connection’s status on the fly. This works much better than most web based internet speed checking services. Not only does it display the download and upload speed it also displays the amount of data downloaded and uploaded. Besides that it can also show statistics like CPU usage your system and average ping time and number of hops of a remote machine.

Another no frills software that does what it promises to. Taskbar Shuffle allows you to re-arrange taskbar buttons through drag-and-drop. It even allows you to re-arrange System Tray icons. Another extremely useful functionality is the ability to close windows by simply middle-clicking their taskbar buttons.

The inability to display Folder Size in explorer view is one of the major annoyances of Windows. It’s unbelievable that even after hundreds of updates, several service packs and multiple new operating systems this flaw has remained. This flaw is present even in Vista. Thankfully some Windows users took matters into their own hands and released a tiny utility called Foldersize. This allows you to add an extra coloumn called “Folder Size” which can display size of files and folders. However, this means that it works only in “Details” view mode.

I have been using NSL for god knows how many years!
TaskBar shuffle is what I like the most among these three. I can now reorder items like I do on my Firefox.

i liked the idea of taskbar shuffle but then it makes frown that these nifty tools come separate and in fragments. how many of them am i supposed to keep! isn’t there a tool, that could all these nifty fixes for XP in one install?

Keeping an open mind can be a key element in seeking out something to do which will culminate in your work from home business. Success is not blind. It is open to multiple possibilities. If you shut your mind to the possibilities around you and as such…
I will try to understand this. Thanks for placement of the blog.
stop saying grose things about this! It’s your terrible way of thinking! Normal people don’t care about stuff like that
Comparing to what I’ve read about this before, it sounds absolutely impressing. I’m an old internet user, and have read a lot about this kind of stuff, but what I read here today is absolutely different.

I am not sure that I can completely understand your comments. Would you be so kind as to expand on your reasoning a little more before I comment.
