Orbit Downloader OR Naviscope 8.7 does not seem to work with Raaga.com as of Feb 2011. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong?

Its weird. Nothing shows up even in Orbit’s Grab++. I guess you will have to use a screen recorder.

You may find Flashgot (http://flashgot.net/), a Firefox extension, useful, It’s great for grabbing those stubborn peaces of media.

I would like to download this streaming video http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/todos/abecedario/R.html#593858 but don’t know how to. No matter if I use Safari or IE. Normally I would double click on the largest (and increasing) Activity file in Safari and off it goes but it doesnt work with this video (and I dont see the big video file in Activity either). Any hints?

On Fedora 11 x86_64, all videos streamed over flash are stored by Firefox in the “/tmp” directory. Saving the vid is a simple matter of copy-paste.

Note: Firefox deletes the temporary file as soon as you navigate away from the page.

Try the method I mentioned (i.e. Naviscope or Orbit). It works with streaming WMP videos.

I want to save the video to my comp. I was able to do it before, but only on the WMP 9. Should I switch back to try and save video or is there a way of saving streaming video on WMP 11?

the timing is bit of a problem for me. Unfortunately I am going on a vacation and wont be able to come online for a couple of weeks. I will try and help you out after that.
