WindowBlinds is good but eats up a lot of resources … :(

So I always stick to using unsigned msstyles. :)

It depends upon the theme you are using. If you use a basic theme (UIS1+) without per-pixel alpha blending or transparency it’s actually very light. I cant find the link now, but I remember seeing in a website that some Windowblinds themes were actually lighter than Msstyles. If you have a GPU then Windowblinds would definitely provide better performance as Windows XP (unlike Windows Vista) doesnt utilize the power of your GPU (video card).

Mystyles platform was also made by Stardock, but it’s not as advanced as WindowBlinds.

Nice looking desktop but the wallpaper is a bit too busy for me. I’ve tried Windowsblinds but it’s really resource hungry! And have you ever tried BBlean ? Take a look at some of my desktops - Except for one of them the rest are made using BBlean.

No. I haven’t tried bbLean. bbLean seems to focus more on functionality than looks.

Previously I was also using WindowBlinds with Icon packager and few other desktop enhancements, but this consumes a lot of memory.
