It can also take snaps of webpages in Microsoft Internet Explorer, FireFox and Opera. However, what sets FastStone apart from most of it’s competition is it’s ability to capture scrolling object. If the object is too long to fit inside the window FSC has the ability to automatically scroll down and capture the full area.

Recuva is not only small and functional but unbelievably fast.

It is still in beta. Hence, it does have some issues. Especially, it has a tendency to crash when dealing with a large number of files. Yet, this is a software you should have at your disposal. It’s a software that can save many a headache.

Great list, I would definitely make use of JDisk to check on files that i want to delete.

As for Faststone capture, it definitely would be a great tool for a blogger, so will try that out too

OK. You are talking about “outstanding software - all of which are smaller than two megabytes”. My utility Dirlot is of no doubt outstanding as to the matter of its own size. It is only 21 759 bytes (not Mbytes! just bytes) zipped and it is “disk space Analyser” as well. The utility uses however columnar diagram to present relative size of files and folders in parent folder. Try it.
